Conversation, Content, Brand, UI, and UX Design
I stumbled into UX and conversation design because of my background in writing and screenwriting. By nature, I am a very curious person, and chasing that curiosity has led me down many different paths.
That curiosity served me well in documentary filmmaking. It served me well as an interviewer. And it serves me well in UX design— researching and combing through transcripts to get to the root of the user experience and problems. I rarely feel like a project is finished— there is always more we can learn or do, so I embrace the process of design— trying and testing and iterating and trying some more. Below are some of my recent attempts.

Description
As the Head of Design at an ed tech startup, I was tasked with converting a collegiate level tech that was designed 10 years ago into one that can be used in PK-1st grade classrooms. With little budget and resources, my team and I have spent the past three years researching, UX testing, world building, and incrementally improving our tech for teacher usage, and then ultimately, independent use by children.

Description
As the Head of Design at an ed tech startup, I oversee and lead the conversation design team and efforts. We are responsible for 25 bots who all use narrative-based conversational AI to teach educational standards. In short, we have written 25 stories with an average of 300-400 lines of dialogue that help kids build language comprehension and social skills through conversation.
